I'd definitely prefer option 2... wasn't the first approach for a somewhat realistic galaxy and now that's dropped to add nearby stars? mh...

Component Building Priority

Define priority in which components are assembled. If you want a specific order you need to clear a design and add everything by hand again in the order wished.

If you're loosing agents you should consider to not send them on risky missions. Currently I'm never sending agents with a chance <80% and even then I falter sometimes.

Though I believe to remember that choosing a particular resource also doesn't show anything.

I would also have expected construction ships to load as much they can to build queued stations as fast as possible, but they return after each finished construction, regardless if you had enough space for all required materials.
