Cool stuff! I'll try this out. I agree that the default symbols for civilians always made the map extremely cluttered.

Paratis interface is swanky. Nice work!

Securans are my favorite race! Something about sexy green humanoid aliens who are super happy and have a high reproductive rate that just works for me. :P
