Thanks for getting back. I am running ver 228b 1366 768 res on win7. Not clear on what a "bit larger" refers to....larger numbers on res...or larger icons....as in 960 res is a smaller number, but everything is larger.

I am eeking out a US civil war mod. Poor generals were part of that history. Negative modifiers would reflect that history. Associated high political cost to change generals would be there also. Of course, then I would have to find a way to require HQs to have leaders.

This old Avalon Hill era grog still playing. Anxiously awaiting Shadow Empire. Still play Civ 3, Midieval Total War. Ability to play a small game, and the editor, will always keep ATG on my computer.

Hi, some pages in editor are partially unavailable (to me anyway) Cant seem to find a windows command which will accommodate the whole page.

Simple way I found, place factories on the map using the map editor, where you wish, as many as you wish. Then forbid the building of each factory. Note that factories can be edited as to what they build fairly easily. Including supply and pps.

Note that...with the editor, you can make those rangers what you will. Change movement and combat in mountains for Mtn Rangers, snow,jungle, city, whatever is fun.

Learning the editor will vastly improve your enjoyment of ATG. I give each ai opponent one of each factory, then prohibit their construction, for them. when learning the editor, learn how the "masterfile" functions first, it will make everything else a little simpler.

I wouldn't build just one type. However, against the ai, I would definately go at guns first. Cause..here come the armoured cars !

Do Air, artillery or naval units benefit from staff or leaders ? They dont seem to add any experience to them from combat. I understand they need a HQ to receive supply, but, are they a waste of staff ? and leader staff totals ?
