If I'm not mistaken the innermost satellite zoom layer was provided by Stamen. File verification likely cleared your local map cache, and so got rid of any Stamen data you had remaining on your local machine.

The placename layer was also from Stamen, it's gone as well.

Try out the new OpenTopoMap ...

Yeah, it's a bummer, but given recent events I'm sure the devs have it prioritized on the "sooner" side of "sooner or later"!

And yes, the database definitely has a variety of values for things that aren't working yet but they intend to implement eventually.

C-RAM (to be explicit: counter rocket, artillery, and mortar fire) is not implemented by the simulation yet. No combination of settings will allow your iron dome to engage unguided rockets.

The key to winning that scenario isn't remaining completely undetected, it's avoiding having your *carrier group* detected. I think it happens when you have multiple unit / loadout types assigned to the mission, with the same weapon type, with conflicting WRA settings?

For example if you have two different types of strike fighters, but both have sidewinders, you could set different WRAs for the sidewinders on each group ...

Have you read the manual or played the tutorial scenarios? What you're asking is a basic function of the game - just set up a AAW patrol mission (if you want the aircraft to take off and patrol in an area) or an intercept mission (if you want them to launch from base when a contact is detected).

As a newer player, I didn't even realize that this was a bug. I simply assumed it was impossible to get a flight of more than one aircraft to target more than one thing at a time.

Steam Beta Build: 1.05.1323.1

Convergence zones are not visually rendering on the map. The zones otherwise function as expected (contacts are detected, etc.) it's just that the rings are not rendering when they should be.

Just wanted to add that I've encountered the exact same thing on the Steam open beta branch. Once instructed to turn off radar and wait for ESM detection, no further events fire. If I crank time compression up to maximum the scenario will eventually time out and end. I can provide a save if needed.

No. Unless you actually mean between SHQ stockpiles. Otherwise it's totally out of your hands - the only control you have is to enable or disable "allow emergency food".
