I get an error message " Invalid File Extension" when I try to upload the save file. Is there something I need to do to upload a save file?

Plan Martin - Allied Fuel Supply

I played Plan Martin to the end as the Allies. It appears that the allies are not getting enough fuel. Despite using points to purchase additional fuel and depleting supply dumps, by the end of the game almost all allied units were immobilized due to insufficient fuel.

Shouldn't the Weight & Carry Stats screen reflect that? I was left scratching my head for quite a while wondering what was going on.

So the fix for this is to find a unit with an extra heavy tractor and transfer it to this unit?

The Unit Weight & Carry Stats on the screen print shows the unit is fully motorized, but the movement highlight on the map shows the unit can only move one hex. The lower left part of the display shows it 97 APs available.

As mentioned, at the total attack level the various modifiers are basically meaningless except as an indicator of how the attack is likely to go. To understand the actual effect of the modifiers on combat you have to look at the combat details. This is time consuming because the combat is resolved ...

Here is what I did. I set four units to priority. Then each turn I checked these units to see if they received any replacements. I did this for ten turns and none of them received any replacements. The only unit that got replacements that I could see was the army group HQ.

What did you do?

The current replacement system works well enough in the smaller scenarios.

It does not work well in Wacht because of the very large number of units. It's almost impossible to remember which units had replacement priority which needs to be turned off so replacements are available for other units ...

Combat in DC4 is not a case of the two sides shooting at each other at long range. Low level units from each side maneuver into each other's hexes as attacks and counterattacks take place during the combat rounds. Orange trucks indicate hexes where enemy units may be present or may have been present. They block supply routes until they are cleared.

Something Wrong

A rear area team, which is smaller than a normal unit made an attack against a unit remnant. In the combat detail it shows that despite its small size and the fact it was attacking alone, it sustained a 42% stacking penalty. See detail screen print.

Further update: The Stadtkyll base has the same problem as Bitburg, where you can't do anything with it after you capture it.

Situation update:

After sitting for several turns doing nothing Gemund suddenly started depleting like other supply bases.

Bitburg still doesn't allow any action. Sounds like a bug, where different strategic bases do not act alike.

Playing as the allies in Wacht I managed to capture the strategic supply base at Gemund. I thought I would set it to Deplete so there would be ample fuel readily available. I did that but nothing happens, supply and fuel both sit there at 50,000.

There are three possible results when a hit is made: PIN, RTRT, KILL. The result is purely random. I don't know if the percentages are the same in DC4, but what I remember from ATG they are: 15% KILL, 25% RTRT, 60% PIN.
