RE: The Sun Also Rises ( D21 )

Is the Finnish Army contributing anything to the conflict? I see some of their units for the first time in your recent updates.

RE: The Sun Also Rises ( D21 )

<t> I love the strategic overview and operational viewpoints for each turn. This is extremely well set up and easy to follow.<br/>
As for your railroad engineers, just a few comments:<br/>

<t> First full game complete as Axis (third try as I made so many mistakes the first two tries I got beat early).<br/>
Thoughts:<br/>
To begin with...I had a blast playing.<br/>

RE: First impressions

5 minute impression:
The map is really nice.
The units are functional and appropriate for this kind of game.
An aggressive Axis Naval Commander can lose almost everything in the first few turns...I should know!
User interface is quite intuitive.

RE: Upgrades - Grrr

<t> Personally, I really like the way the upgrades and reinforcements are handled. There are never enough MPP to go around, so an auto upgrade would wipe out your MPP and leave you little other options. I also think that only being able to upgrade or reinforce is OK. A unit reduced to strength one ...

Thank you for doing this AAR. I have had a few aborted attempts at playing, as I learn the system. I am hoping to gain some insight on strategies, tactics, and gameplay.

RE: Meklore's AAR, And it's okay if Joc reads it!

I love this AAR and can't wait to read more of it. I tend to play aggressively on both sides. With the Allies I could rebound quicker from not so pleasant results. The Axis were a bit trickier as every unit is important.
