Wrong Upgrade of Planetary Fighter Base

I am playing humans, my spies stole Hive fighter tech from the Gizureans and now all my regular fighter bases want to upgrade to the hive ones even though they have worse capacity and no research upgrade path. I also seemingly lost ability to build the regular fighter bases as well.

I started to have similar CTD problem today, I am on the latest beta 1.1.8.7

I use 2 mods: Anex Realistic System Names and Realistic Empire Names

First be sure you are not just right clicking on enemies with fleet selected like me few weeks ago as for some reason "prepare and attack" is the default instead of just "attack" and fleets that are like 90% full still want to go to some random mining station to refuel with the "prepare and attack ...

When you say "resources don't run out" it's not totally accurate. You are right that the sources never run out, but you need the resources at the destination to have any use of them which is exactly why wasting freighters and caslon to do absolutely inefficient runs and causing never ending ...

Yes I played a lot (100 hours+) since then, and this problem seems to be fixed at least for me in campaign started on new version. [1.0.3.3]

I have few things:

It would be nice if you could designate something like a hub for cargo. Then there would be freighters that would go and mostly just fly cargo from mining stations --> hub + fuel from hub --> mining stations route. Then there would be freighters that would fly from hub ...

On the topic of knowing where everything is: It would also be nice to have a system badges overlay setting between basic and off. System names without badges like in DWU. The basic badges are too big and cover too much of the screen while setting it off removes the system names too.

1. I would love an in game "ship design template" designer. Basically a menu where you select on what criteria should the ai designer base their design on.

I am playing 1000 star galaxy with 7 ai in the year 2860 and it seems like the biggest fps hog right now are the ui elements on the galaxy map. If I zoom out with full badges I have like 10-15 fps. paused or unpaused. When I turn off the UI (right bottom button) I have 70+ fps paused or unpaused ...

I think no mission should have 100% success rate ever. Sometimes s**t happens and even the most routine thing goes badly.
I think in the future overhauling how spies work would be nice. Imagine if your spy had to travel to the enemy station or had to hop on other empires freighters or passenger ...

Gravilex is stuck inside a star and my Defence fleets are trying to kill it but can't get close enough so they just kinda fly in circles and run out of fuel.

Star Background in systems too dense and too bright for my taste. Its little disorienting and makes the screen too "busy". In DWU I preferred lower background star count so the game graphics would stand out better. It would be nice to have a setting for it in the options.

Yeah definitely found myself fighting with it from time to time. It would be nice if clicking on the game map would close or minimize popups.
