RE: Map Sizes

One Day I WILL play "Clearing of the Breskins Pocket" but I will probably chicken out and do it on VASL....

RE: Zero day patch is HERE!!! - and - THANK YOU!!!

<r> Sorry I'm a bit late with this as I have been out of computer reach, but Congratulations with the release <E>:)</E> I deleted the Beta version once I realised that I would not be able to continue the testing process and being unemployed guess I won't be seeing the final product on the hard drive ...

generating interest

I noticed on the ASL facebook community page, someone had put up some screenshots and it is generating a conversation.

RE: Manual is done

Yes,

Good Stuff Peter. You have produced a game that should do well and will scratch a lot of itches out there..... Congrats, and thanks for letting me be a small cog in the machine [:)]

RE: Tigers on the Hunt reveals its Cover Art!

Ah yes the LoLtracktor, shame I am on the Asian Server and I assume you are on the US server - we could have platooned and rampaged round the battlefield in the mighty Loltraks :) look me up on the Wot asia webpage under Narfarkle.

RE: Tigers on the Hunt reveals its Cover Art!

<t> Hey Bo, I also play WoT but don't think that all the stuff that they put into the game reflects what was actually produced. [8D] Makes for a bit of fun though. Seriously, there are people out there who will endlessly debate the number of nuts on a steel wheel of a Panther G. As a scale modeller ...

RE: Tigers on the Hunt reveals its Cover Art!

Shame they put the commanders cupola on the wrong side of the tank and put late production model running gear with an early production turret........[:D] Nice piece of art though and looks pretty impressive

RE: Geneva Convention as Default?

<t> A similar debate was had in a similar context about a year ago. A rather well known boardgame publisher published a game based around the May 1943 Dambusters raid. The furore started when the designer named Wing Commander Guy Gibson's Black Labrador dog in the rules (yes you know the "N" word ...

RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta!

<t> Hello Peter,<br/>
<br/>
I feel I need to offer an apology of sorts, I started helping out with the Beta but had to take a break at one stage - I thought it was a temporary one but life got out of hand a bit so I was unable to return. I didn't get around to formally requesting a break so I am ...

RE: Tigers on the Hunt Screenshots Revealed!

<t> Yep that looks pretty good to my eye. The classic boardgame....... looks good. It has a nice familiar feel... a lot like ASL in feel. Look forwards to testing it. [:)] Curious about the stars on the unit counters. Have I missed something? Do they represent number of troops? ie single half squad ...

RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta!

<t> I agree Wodin, the CC series, was a real eye opener. I remember owning the first 4 of the series and then found a bug in a campaign, too many wrecks. Game wouldn't proceed. Gave up on it after that, I agree that CC2 Russian front was a lot of fun. Played an ASL game from an old SL series ...

RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta!

<t> Hello team, Have signed up and read through the pages of the forum thus far. This looks a very interesting project. Well done Peter for getting it this far. Will be interesting to see what this looks like and see if we can break it [;)] It looks and feels so much like ASL from the info posted ...
