RE: Soviets seem very over-powered

<t> Current status when I load as Allies<br/>
<br/>
Sov has 101 units with 83 losses<br/>
Collected 35280 mpp<br/>
<br/>
I had taken Murmansk months back cutting that route/income. Initial drive into SU was decent but only just, then a brick wall of endless units appeared. It just seems they ...

RE: Soviets seem very over-powered

<t> I did. Not to the extent I have seen others but I was doing pretty good. This seems excessive. I began to notice this end of '42 kept playing then finally gave up and loaded he game as Allies. Their production of units (not just infantry) is off the charts...combined with the research..<br ...

Is there an instruction booklet somewhere? Or is this mod only for those that have played and understand ATR?

RE: Soviets seem very over-powered

I was shell shocked when I opened the game as Allies and saw the extent of what the SU had..the MPP alone are crazy but the shear number of armor, aircraft, research levels obtained..insane

Soviets seem very over-powered

<r> Is it typical by early-mid 43 for the soviets to have 3000+ Mpp? I am playing a game as AXIS was doing ok. But it seems the SU just turned into an unstoppable superpower. Endless armor, aircraft, level 3 infantry etc etc etc. So I load up the game as Allies and holy smokes! How the heck did the ...

RE: WitE 2

Will there be a printed manual for the game? I understand the manual evolves but I have no issues writing errata in. Leave a few empty pages in the back for notes. Really prefer printed vs PDF

RE: AI Airbase Management

<r> It has been my, albeit limited, experience that the AI does a somewhat poor management of airbases. <br/>
I have switched over to doing it all on my own as the AI seems to leave many aircraft out of range or away from where they are actually needed, regardless of hitting the AI move/manage ...

Yup. Despite massive allied air power they operate with absolute impunity delivering 100's of tons of supply

RE: Can't shoot down German transports

Was this ever remedied? I have this exact problem in the Africa scenarios. Axis supply planes fly missions with never any intercept despite best efforts in changing flight settings..ALT, Mission, "fly on enemy turn" etc..

Interested in a PBEM (Newb)?

<r> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
Is anyone interested in starting a PBEM with a newb? I am very much still learning the game so if you are pro I wouldn't be putting up a very fun challenge! (or probably any challenge at all for a lot of you!) However wouldn't necessarily mind a teaching game either with a ...

Just some thoughts. Again, my sense is that, great job that it is, the WaW only plumbs about half the potential of the system that could be realized on a larger scale. A ton of work and it would definitely be a labor of love ...

Yep, more units and longer turn times but also more fun and a more epic feel to it - even I can easily add more units in the editor - so a larger map would suffice for the start ;-D

+1 :)
