Blacklist for quitters?

<r> Could we have some sticky blacklist/wall of shame of players who quit without any communication when things go awry for them on the map. I hate to invest hundreds of hours into the game (Bitter End campaign, chosen by my opponent) just to notice that my opponent slips away saying nothing on T12 ...

RE: Attack outcome

<t> There are also some odd results now on Soviet side. I am playing bitter end and am now on turn 11. No major encirclements after first turns, but Germans still capture tens of thousand soviets each turn just from normal casualties. Has this always been this way (and now visible because no ...

RE: RE:"The Dawn is Surely Coming"

Soviet railcap is more likely near 150k in start of 1941. It is quirked in couple of first turns, but then stabilizes (after initial losses) to around 135-140k....

Looking for Axis opponent [closed]

<t> Looking for Axis opponent for full campaign. I have 3 games against human on my belt (all ended in 1942 though) and one MP-game going on, so would appreciate opponent with some experience against human.<br/>

RE: RE:T29

I prefer using motorcycle regiments for cavalry corpses. They now add most CV per SU and as an upside there is plenty of already experienced regiments right off from the start. Then I mix those with some arty-mg battalions and tank battalions (have to be built early to get any experience).

RE: 9PM Team Game

If there is any Soviet Ground command (no matter theatre) spot left, I would love to apply. Have played a couple of server games, I keep up the timetables and would love to join team discussions in Discord.

RE: Soviet Tank Brigades Below Nominal Strength

Well, ain't that what Soviet Tank Brigade TOE should be around that time? My game just ended in april 1942 and my tank brigades had 50 tanks and around 1000 manpower at full TOE. They are just such pitiful guys. :)

RE: Rail repair - Finland

I don't know if it has been discussed before, but Finland in fact shared same railroad gauge as Russia so in real life they did only need to repair battle damages (and what Red Army broke while retreating). They didn't need to do the extensive re-gauging Germans did.

RE: The Velukie Luki gambit seems bad?

<t> Well, some Soviet players tend to put up quite a formidable wall of steel to Land-bridge. In that case it might seem enticing to divert to Velikie Luki to throw Soviets off balance. Even then it depends on exact situation if the middle route is still best (after Soviets have been unhinged from ...

RE: Can someone explain these results

<r> Asberdies, there have been already plethora of people giving you possible explanations. <E>:)</E> Foremost is the disparity in number of elements in fights concerning tank brigades. They should be taken separately and not as a trend in combination with other fights. Other fights may or may not ...

RE: Can someone explain these results

<t> I understand where you are coming from. I still would like to emphasize that in defence CV is generally less than expected (ranging from 0.5-1.5xinitial cv as a rule of a thumb) and in offence it is more (ranging from 0.75->5.00x original value). I don't know what in the engine makes this so ...

RE: Can someone explain these results

<t> I would also like to point out, that in this game in general offense is favored over defence. When in offence CV often multiplies (due to more leader rolls, attacker generally having more artillery to disrupt or something, don't know, but this is clear trend that has been accepted here in forums ...

RE: Soviet AP costs

How many cavalry corps are you aiming at? Just curious and thinking if I should prepare for same building operation (at t18 now in my game). On the other hand aren't those cavalry divs horribly inexperienced in December as they have only a couple of turns to train?

RE: Interception of Interdiction

<r> I had also problems with German interdiction. Only that the issue besides mps lost was that my fighters DID try to stop germans which was a big mistake. In any other aerial engagements I could get bearable kill-ratios, but for some reason in interdictions Germans simply wiped me off the skies. I ...

RE: ground support

There can be couple of reasons for this:

1) Your fighters are too fatigued to fly
2) Your fighters have no ammunition left
3) Your fighters don't have enough fuel

You should check that these are not the case before battles requiring ground support.

If frontline does feel a long for you, it must feel a lot longer for Soviet with such losses! He simply cannot defend on steppes against concentrated panzers!

All three (3)... Soviet tank pools at this stage are utter horror and quite easy to describe with a single digit, 0.
