They're completely different than strategic roles, which represent the kinds of tasks a ship is designed to accomplish at the strategic level

I have a fleet that keeps attacking on it's own, does anyone know why?

The is fleet currently sitting within a system, in the same system there are some hostile starbases near some other planets. If I order the fleet to "stop" it says No Mission, however whenever I unpause the game the fleet ...

2. The Setting for Colony Prevelance - the thing where it makes the most sense and is even mentioned in the text - does not affect the Quality
Can you provide any (one would be fine) example where the definition of "Prevalence" has any bearing, whatsoever, on "Quality"?

To my understanding, that maintain level is only to influence freighter deliveries. They will deliver Caslon constantly until that level is reached ...

What you propose in Post 1, #1 Paragraph 2 would simply put any Tech selection on a very tight Rail gauge and make having more than even 2 ships "roles" untenable in practicability.

How is the Player to create multiple ships, with multiple "roles" when Tech is a straight line progression, unless ...

All you need to colonize is Ion Protection. Practically the Ion Sheath Armor is enough, but the Autodesigner only ever installs the Ion Shield.

Freighters need time to transport stuff.
And propably time to be built.
But there are some reports repots of some of the stockpile levels not being ...

Here is a TIP I found online and it seems to work "pretty good" for Fleets and Fleet Action selections.

In the Fleet Template creation screen "Add a New Fleet Type" and call it User-Manual Fleet.

This Fleet type will contain no ships (0's in all categories) and allow any Fleet to be set as User ...

This is a complete cop out with a few nice buzzwords.

Hard points are bad, lazy design that only frustrates players.


And when someone says things like that, the only thing one can ask is "When does your Game come to Market?" Because it will surely be a Best Seller... :(

The game screen shown is currently in 2850. ;)

I do agree on one thing though. Corruption is absolutely set at absurd levels. Even a 50% + mitigation, it eats up Revenue at a crazy rate.

Totally plausible. It does seem to have more than one "spray pattern" and the ship has 2 Ion Engines. Will have to keep an eye in the future to see of I can spot other ships with similar overlays...

Not sure what is different but I do not see any downgrade to a MAX Pop Planet.

This one is OVER the Max by quite a margin as well and still has a very good Revenue stream.
