RE: 8MP Air War Review

<t> The depth of knowledge for the air war rules is truly impressive in these posts. Thank you for stating your thoughts on the air war so clearly. Can't speak for anyone else, but I have been enjoying this AAR quite a lot. And yes, as Crackaces mentioned, it has led to very interesting results that we can study. Right now though, I'm looking forward to your answer for the Soviets in '42!

<t> Dear lord! I haven't seen the Soviets on that side of the Dnieper in a long time. You good sir have given us a very interesting winter to watch. Your reports are top notch might I add, and are very enjoyable to read. It appears that with the line so far west in the South, the Soviets might ...

<t> I'm impressed you have held onto Rostov so far. No doubt, the light infantry in the sector makes that possible. It would be a great jumping off point come Spring/Summer, and your logistics would be an extra 10 hexes forward than the average Stalino defense. I will be paying close attention to ...

RE: T28, Last Week of December

<t> Excepting Crimea, you seem to be in a good spot to weather the blizzard. Soviet momentum is going to peak in the next few weeks, but judging from the win/loss ratios you should be able to pull off a successful strategic retreat in several sectors.<br/>

Yeah I like that idea. Reduce Persian LL by ~50 in that case? Bad roads in Central Asia, even worse than Caucasus, and longer travel to the front.

RE: WitE 2

<t> You're right, I did some digging and a look at a 1941 Soviet railnet shows the infrastructure in the Kola Peninsula clearly cannot support heavy weapons - or anything more than a battalion really - in the area.
