Re: Strategics bombings

Okay, I'm willing to believe that's the game, but I find the number of VP lost to bombing (even strategic)
is exaggerated compared to troop and ship losses. :?
I think there needs to be better calibration on this subject...
Thanks for your comments.

Are you seeing a "FIRES" line in the Tokyo pop-up? Those really rachet up the damage level.

No, actually, the fires were extinguished two days after the attack.
Of course, in light industries, I lost 740 out of 2,240, and only a few in ...

Re: Strategics bombings

I think there's a bug because after bombing Tokyo with their 3 CVs, the Japan player had a 350 VP penalty in strategic bombing, and 10 days later, we're up to 1860 VP!
Small and large industries were affected during the raid but since then they are gradually repairing themselves, so why are the ...

Strategics bombings

hello everyone,
I couldn't find this thread on the forum, so I'm taking the liberty of jumping in.
My opponent (the Allies) started repeatedly conducting strategic bombing raids right from the start of the game.
After three weeks of play, I've already lost 1860 VP.
What are the general rules ...

Re: Looking for opponent to go really go all the way to the end. Scenario 2 latest Beta i can play both sides.

Hi Maréchal,
I'm interested in playing a full, long game, but if possible, I'd like to play the Japanese side.
I haven't played this latest beta yet; I just finished a full RHS game over two years ago...
We can chat if you'd like via PM.
A+

Maybe have the bombardment TFs come in first, then the ASW TFs converting to minesweeping TFs just before the invasion, then the invasion TF.

Okay, if I understand correctly, the first night was "bombing," the second night was anything that could be transformed into a "mine ...

Keep your bombardment task forces a little father out.
For minesweeping, those ships work better in dedicated minesweeping task forces which will be hit hard by CD guns.

Yes, of course, I can wait a day before "bombarding," but at night my "DMS" are at the mercy of the CDs ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

Hello everyone,
I've been playing this latest version for a few months, and I don't know if any players have noticed a bug on the Japanese side with Japanese "mine hunters" (DMS or others), which often step on mines, even though their primary purpose is to neutralize them!
In older versions, this ...

Yaab wrotte, That's your problem right there. The overall amount of supplies in RHS is OBSCENE.
Indeed, the “must” in micromanagement ! :D

Re: Supplies on version 11.28b

Yes, of course, we have to go there gradually now, especially since I have about 100,000 supplies left in Tokyo, the other big cities in Japan are at 20,000 to 25,000 supplies.
It's certainly very weak in mid-March 42... :(

Re: Supplies on version 11.28b

No, practically not, because I was more used to looking for as much fuel or oil as possible in the other versions.
I never lacked supplies, hence my surprise.
So I'm going to "develop" the industries.
Thank you.

Re: Supplies on version 11.28b

Thanks guys for your help.
I don't have a red "X" in the production panel.
Currently, in March 1942, Japan produces 319,920 resources (per month or year ?, I don't now) and it says disabled product 11,380, and Tokyo alone produces 25,336.
I'm currently importing as much as possible from abroad, but ...

Supplies on version 11.28b

Hello everyone,
For a few years I have only played the RHS or Reluctant versions and now I have started a PBEM with version 11.28b.
I remember that with version 11.27 the big problem for the Japanese was the "fuel".
In the new version the problem is the "supplies" ! :o
The Japanese find themselves ...

Witp-AE comes with two sets of maps - one with visible hexes (map files named "WPEHxx") and another without visible hexes (map files named "WPENxx").

In the "Preferences" menu there is a "Map Style" toggle to switch between the maps with and without ...

by Sardaukar,
Scroll to north east corner of map and see if there is thing about terrains etc. and Bellum Pacifica etc.

BP look from first sight bit like stock map but colours are smoother and less aggravating etc.

Thank you but my question is: why do the Kami2 or Bellum Pacifica map modes not ...
