I don't see a reason to change what we have based on the changes in the data.

It is the sort of thing that is making players quit (in particular to quit the Axis).

For example, I just had a server game only on turn 6 end partly because of it:

The thing is you can adjust the Ai experience easily.You have several ways and levers to do that by increasing the morale of the AI, etc but you have none to do so in PBEM play apart from going into the editor and editing files yourself

Yes, I would like to see just a slightly more capable Japanese Industry and maybe some slightly more increased fuel/supplies but otherwise have mostly the stuff that Scen 1 Japan comes with.

Balance implications are minimal as far as I can tell. How many new units are being forced to be combat unit that you want to be multi-role? For how long are these units around? My experience is this game is a like trying to turn a battleship, it takes major changes to have much of an impact on ...

Working as Developed. You won the battle but the Soviet Combat Unit was forced into unready status (to much got killed or damaged for the unit to still stand effectively on the battlefield) thus it routes away.

You can pretty much see the same thing very often in Riga in the GC during the first ...

Turn 56. Manstein died to a snaking mech Div that ignored several ZoCs. The rest apart from the romanians and 1 German General that died to a soviet naval landing in Crimea were "logistical" deaths. Especially fun was Model dying on turn 6 or so

From a purely tactical perspective (SP for example), a 251/1 loaded with Mech infantry hit by 45mm or a 76mm HE round could kill the squad entirely, this may be the case here.


IMO, they should be armored with 251/1 stats for the artillery bombardment and ranges > 500m, and then dismount and ...

Heavy fighting around Vyazma, Kherson and around the Luga River plus movements on Orel but pretty much bogged down already for the most part in what can be described as mostly intense artillery pushing slowly forward.
