Task Force Information Screen question

So, I've been going over videos and the manual and can't find an answer to this, it's probably crazy obvious and expects me to extrapolate from other info, but!

On the TF info screen
What do this line mean?
Moves(m/c) x/y, fuel xxx/y(z)

I'm fairly sure it's moves (mission/cruise) hexes/hexes, fuel ...

RE: Axis running onlly ground support and Recon

<t> I figured as much, I know the Axis didnt put that many eggs in the Strategic Bombing basket and the USSR air force is laughable at best in early game. It was more something I noticed while planning to seize a city, it was surrounded with airbases and I was curious as to why it wasnt being ...

RE: Axis running onlly ground support and Recon

Ok, so I need to manually set it up to strike at cities and airfields, etc?

Axis running onlly ground support and Recon

<t> Hey everyone, still learning WitE2 but after turn one, all my air power is doing nothing but running recon during the air phase and ground support during the ground phase.<br/>
<br/>
I am using auto AI for air.<br/>
<br/>
I tried setting some manual options for ground attack/bombing cities ...

RE: Some suggestions

Yea playing as axis tends to be very much an AFK playstyle. Form defensive line, end turn, check EF box, refit/put back on the front line as necessary, check defensive line. End turn, lather rinse repeat.

RE: Lack of Forum Activity

<t> I think it might be that WiTE is just more dynamic maybe? Playing as axis on WITW is alot of form stable defensive line and hold out as long as possible then retreat, do it again. France offers more of a dynamic playstyle, but personally in always hampered by having enough guys to defend, or do ...

RE: How to prevent massive allied casualties?

<t> So, it's an AI game.<br/>
<br/>
As for ITA, my goal was basically to tie up Axis forces there with constant light offensives, not really to gain ground, but make the AI not want to withdraw units from a stagnant front. I focused heavily on bombing oil/fuel as well as aircraft early game. This ...

RE: Questions on aerial isolation...

<t> I found specific targeting of lines of communication and airfields did wonders for the ITA campaign, easily allowing me to push almost to Bologne by mid 44. As for in northern Europe, it's been a month since my landings and I just managed to capture Caen and St Lo but with massive casualties ...

RE: I don't think I'm smart enough for this game

<t> I feel you man. I've started and restarted and restarted campaigns again and again because I'll limp along to mid-late '44 and then learn something new, and realize "Huh, if I had known that from the start, this would of been way easier." I've found this game can be as simple or as insanely in ...

RE: Defending the Reich from bombers

<t> As WA my bombing campaign for most of jul/Aug/Sept '43 was solely against Axis airfields. Tactical and strategic. Corsica/Sardinia/Sicily were largely pushovers so I didn't really need the WA air forces. By the end of '43. It was exceptionally rare to see any Luftwaffe presence in any area. Then ...

How to prevent massive allied casualties?

<t> It's currently jul/44 playing as WA. I am already well into northern Italy (about 150mi from the southern Alps) and control the contenin peninsula, as well as St Lo and Caen. But my VPs suffer drastically at my casualties. I know the reasoning behind it (politics and what not) but as soon as I ...

RE: Soft Crash or a Hanging issue.

<t> I seem to of figured it out, testing it now by letting it idle for a few more minutes, but I unchecked a box in Steam/Settings/Interface - Directwrite. So far no issues. I have been fighting this battle for almost 2 months, if this is the fix, I cannot believe it was this simple.<br/>

Soft Crash or a Hanging issue.

<t> So, have an issue with CMANO. I am above the minimum specs of the game for this SP 4 (i5-7300U, 8Gb RAM, Integrated Graphics, 128Gb HD) but the game constantly freezes and soft crashes (mouse still moves around, music/sound still going, and it sounds like the game itself is still "playing" but ...

RE: CMANO has constant hangs and crashes.

<t> Thanks for all your help, once reinstall is done I will give it a whirl, and see what happens. Sadly my power options are VERY limited. Nowhere near as many options as that, and balanced is the only setting I have available. Even in advanced settings I cannot play with hard disk or anything ...

[RESOLVED] CMANO has constant hangs and crashes.

<t> CMANO was running fine and then it wasn't. I am not sure if it was a update or something.<br/>
<br/>
Errors gives no number etc, just a hard hang. Task Manager does not report it as "not responding" and the CPU/RAM/Disk usage is normal, no apparent memory leak or it bottlenecking.<br/>
