RE: Why are Federalists and Humanists always unwilling to form a victory pact?

<t> I'm just guessing here, but reading the manual on the Federalists, they're still warmongers that want to take over the world, but they're willing to cooperate in a limited fashion. Perhaps they represent the Soviet Union under Stalin and his successors. They weren't going to back down from their ...

RE: No spying on cityless zones

<t> The zone with the city should flip to your control on the next turn, with any hostile units in a newly created zone, like how rebels are spawned in a newly created zone within your own zone. If that is not occurring, then its probably a bug. It does mean waiting a turn after the conquest ...

RE: [1.05b1] Blackmail event lacks common sense

<t> Well, avoid war doesn't imply that today war will occur, any more than refusing to buy slaves doesn't immediately lead to war. It might happen next turn, or maybe later down the road. Or maybe relations are so high that ignoring this one attempt won't lead to war. Or maybe it would lead to war ...

RE: Getting Mutants/Spiders To Spawn?

<t> Not sure, but I suspect the More Extreme survival option would probably do it, what with Mutants being former humans and Spiders feasting upon humans that didn't make it. Life Will Find A Way might also mean more Spiders as I think they're the only wildlife faction (other animals just form Non ...

RE: Zombie Major Faction, please die already!

What we really need is movement treaties. I *should* be able to travel through an ally's lands without taking them over, and visa versa. Even if that ally gets the land that I conquer, it would at least help with these scenarios.

<t> Hm, it does bring up some interesting tactics, such as keeping employed all good leaders and zeroing out the reserve, or maybe zeroing out the advisors instead and "promoting" all the useless into advisors attached to front-line military units. Just speculating here, but pretty sure negative private economy means people starve, since they can't afford food. Now if Emergency Food is on, they won't starve, but they won't be as happy as if they could afford to buy food.

Vaporwave and Future Funk mostly. Macross 82-99 for an example.

And when you ask "over this", I mean it: Those songs actually mesh well with the default music, I have no idea why. Playing both actually works.

RE: Current "Penalty for friction with Advisor" is unreasonably high even for very similar leaders

<t> I've generally seen around -11 penalty. Seems worthwhile on the normal, behind-the-scenes skill uses, such as admin and technician for the council leaders.<br/>
<br/>
There is also the fact that an attached Advisor will skill up in those skills used by the job, whereas they won't skill up in ...
