Bonus vs Tanks? Ah, that explains the Tank massacre!

In desperation, thinking that what I lacked was enough "Hard Attack" I commissioned an AT Battalion. I also scraped together what manpower and metal I could and made a Siege brigade, thinking that I needed more firepower too.

I wonder if the game maybe calculates income and expenses in such an order that when it comes time to pay these workers, you're actually out of cash, although you earn it back later in the turn.

How much spare money are you sitting on?

The problem isn't with the AI not following the rules, but rather that it needs to be better at "faking it".

As I believe one famous game developer said: "Never let the player see you cheat."

Does it make a difference which SHQ the units are set to in their OOB?
It would be hilarious if they were stubbornly insisting on getting supplies from the Capital's HQ, regardless of whether it was accessible.

Everything seems like it could be due to simple rounding, except for 3 credits from 9 trade. 20% of 9 is 1.8, which shouldn't round to 3.

I always buy Machines from the market instead of making them even when I do get a source of Rare Minerals. The market prices are such that selling 20 Rares will more than pay for a new Machine, and you can keep your Metal and Industrial Points!

Hmm...I can't work out the math any better than you, and I certainly can't figure out how a 16% relation bonus and a 15% scavenging bonus combine to create a 25% production bonus.
