It is an event that fires after the Shakturi have arrived and then established themselves. Everyone gets a dialogue to either join them forming the axis or resist which forms the freedom alliance.

If you destroy the Shakturi too quick it doesn't trigger.

Playing as Boskara and at war with Combined Qanedu Republic (Human) - demand subjugation - they accept and then immediately the treaties disappear and war is over.

Hi - playing Boskara and the Humans I'm at war with are willing to accept subjugation. Once when they accept the treaty/relationship status it instantly gets removed, and war is ended.

The new DLC is definitely a nice addition, but I've not seen a massive improvement in terms of diplomacy tbh. I could be wrong (and sadly wasn't invited to test before release grr) but the multi-empire alliance seems to be locked behind in Game events. Meaning alliances pretty much act like they did ...

Returning to the game after a long hiatus. I remember one of the things that used to frustrate me was how freighters always appeared to make a run without filling cargo holds to capacity.

Or were they?

Now I wonder if they really are filling to capacity but we just don't know exactly what ...

Just to give a bit of an update - I did a complete re-install of the game and even went into the steam folders and deleted any residual files/folders after uninstalling. Sadly, not had a huge amount of time to play since, but so far my new the game it has been running far smoother. I'll let you know ...

Game has run for about 30-45mins without a crash - which is a huge improvement and I've just come back after having to do something else for a while. However, again the game is ctd on unpausing autosave. So by chance I tried to verify the game again via steam and again it came back with that two ...

When i noticed I was frequently ctd I did a clean install and even deleted all old saved games. However, I did just verify the game via steam and it said it needed to retrieve two files. I'll let you know if the ctd keep happening. (Also im not using any mods.)

for some reason it doesnt always create a crash dump, but below are the ones from the last couple of days. Hope it helps pin point something.

The game seems stable early game, but as soon as I start approaching the early midgame then the ctd's start creeping in. That save sometimes as soon as I unpause it will crash, but then I've manage to get it to run it longer and not get a ctd until later.

DW2 is good but I think it depends what you enjoyed most about DW:U. It has taken me a while to adjust from DW:U to DW2 and the hankering for the old game is still there sometimes, but then again I used to play a heavily modded DW:U and not the vanilla.
