Thanks, Wiedrock, everything went well. The numbers I changed were these:
- Counter Idx 115: The "original" HQ slot now has the Army logo to 0009, 0010, and 0011 HQs.
- Counter Idx 123: New Logo for Corps to 0013, 0014, 0015, 0016, 0017, and 0021 HQs.
- Counter Idx ...

Wiedrock wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:37 pm Sure, any other changes?
With that change, I'd be happy. I'd do it myself if I knew how. I tried... but there's more to it than just the graphics. The thing is, the change I made didn't work well in the game.

Re: New Counter/Nato-symbols can be added

The overlap is caused by me (I), since I want the Soviet Corps to always be marked different than the normal Divisions. (Just to make clear it is me causing this issue). :D

Oh, okay, and could you also include another version without the altered Soviet Corps? I prefer to focus on the three X's ...

Re: New Counter/Nato-symbols can be added

Thanks, much better than the previous one. It would be great if the developers took this issue into account (which I don't think would require much work) and freed up some slots for modders (including by default). The fact that certain logos overlap is a shame.

The unit counters surrounded by red hexagons are different from the ones you provided for download at this link: https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopic.php?t=410457

Re: Henschel Hs 123 data

I've been checking all the sources I could find about the Henschel Hs 123, and the maximum speed in the game seems to be somewhat reduced, which is why the problem I described in the first post appears to be occurring. In all the sources, the speed is clearly higher.

Kamensk

The town listed as "Kamensk" in the game (259, 172) has been called "Kamensk-Schachtinski" since 1929, according to German Wikipedia... and Luftwaffe reports from the wartime era. It also houses a huge chemical plant (both then and now).

Fantastic game, congratulations to both players. Thanks, M60, for the wealth of tips you shared (including everything related to using aircraft). It was all very interesting.

Re: Quick Questions Thread

For a complete explanation on Corps creation read the "Living Manual" (as there have been modifications since the original in this regard) in the section: 27.5.5. Creation of Combat Corps

Guard Mechanized Corps, for example, can be built from November 1942, but Guard Tank Corps can only be built ...

Wow, fantastic table, it gives the Soviet player a very accurate idea of the best options available for building artillery... Too bad I usually play for the Axis side. 8-)

Re: Henschel Hs 123 data

On the unit's page, the 10.(Sch)/LG 2, if the 150 L drop tank and two 50 kg bombs are added, the maximum speed decreases to 173 mph, but the cruising speed remains unchanged at 179 mph (since the cruising speed is never changed in any aircraft, regardless of the load). It is expected that the ...

Henschel Hs 123 data

The Henschel Hs 123 has a lower top speed than its cruising speed (173 mph max speed versus 179 mph cruise speed), which is nonsense. In most sources I've reviewed, I've seen cruising speeds ranging from 176 to 197 mph and a max speed between 210 and 214 mph.

P.D.: I forgot to mention that ...

I will eventually post an update to this guide and I'm finding it time consuming because of the real need to, at least partially, include air and some logistics management.
It would be really good to include air and logistics in this superb guide

Error in the roads of some hexes

In some hexes I have verified that there are roads... when in reality there are none. I realized when I saw that the movement through them did not correspond to what was seen on the map. In the three hexes in Poland marked with a red X (175,177; 176,178, and 175,179) says that they have "Average ...

Show Air Directive Summary

The Toolbar button that I have circled in red (Air Directive Summary) is selected with the Shift+d hotkey, therefore it should have a square surrounding the "d" and not a triangle. I think some patch introduced the error, because at first it was fine.
