For making the Windows task bar disappear I've set the following as per in the screen shot. Should work in Windows 10/11 and allows me to see the bottom edge of the game ... want the task bar to appear hover mouse above the bottom edge of screen and move the mouse away and the task bar disappears ...

Curious when you’ll share this with all ?.

Re: WitPTracker AE Release 1.11 Available!

Being used to playing WITW or WITE2 when I saved turns I did NOT save over the same number but created a new save file for each day and used the multi-turn function to load the turns in. That worked fine but the last few turns when I load tracker the time went from about just under 20 seconds to ...

Re: WitPTracker AE Release 1.11 Available!

floydg,

Maybe you know what WITP-AE Dev teams future intent is concerning the PWSDLL7.DLL? The question was been posed by several people even since the 1127 beta came out and now with the "final" update sometime in the future, will the WITP-AE dev team provide a 64 bye version of the PWSDLL7.DLL ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

My understanding that to enable WITPTracker to use 64-byte Java, it needs a 64 byte version of the pwsdll7.dll. Game needs the 32 byte version to read the save files but is there any chance of making an additional pwsdll7.dll that is 64-bit and including it in a sub folder in the final update? That ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

Matrix did do a poll two years ago asking players what they wanted in the game. The suggestion to prevent accidental disbandment was made (my preference was to move that button to the bottom area of the TF screen). Several players supported the idea. No other responses that I can recall.
Then the ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

As far as having two .exes go, I think that the better solution would be to have a switch in the preferences much like the computer controlling the submarine ops although being able to change the preference not only in the current game but for each player in a PBEM game as well.

Yours is the ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

Everything you have said about this, has already been said. Go back and read the 11.27 beta comments about having to use the keyboard to disband task forces… A lot of people didn’t like it then, and you still have to use the stupid keyboard with 11.28

I doubt they’re gonna change it ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

Also, been curious if anyone has done any testing with instructor losses in TRACOM??

V1.01.27– 05 March 2022 (Game version shown as 1.8.11.27)
4. Tweak what is an 'instructor' for TRACOM purposes and allow casualties to them

Your instructor losses for the month seem to be either all KIA or all WIA ...

So Matrix doesn't even know who is reviewing the patch and the status of it? They seem to be more concerned with policing behavior on the message boards than working on the patch.

Just a stab in the dark, but sometimes when you have used the ALL AIRCRAFT buttons (land based and ship based) at the top of the screen and filtered the list by turning off display of certain types, if you do not turn those types back on they don't display in game either.

Now that is something ...

Re: Carrier Wildcat replacements

When a carrier is undergoing a lengthy upgrade in a shipyard I'll often shore base it's air groups in other locations to do additional fighter cover or ASW/Search.

I think it’s a glitch. The algorithm forgot they were Saratoga’s and just made them Marines. It’s too uncanny a coincidence. I’ve ...

Re: Supply flow between bases

I have a suspicion, that in WiTP:AE, supply moves from a base to a base only along major/minor railroads, major/minor roads and trails - it doesn't flow through non-rail/non-road hexes. While LCUs sitting in no-road/no-rail hexes can be supplied by bases, the export-import flow of supplies between ...

I also did reload a save but this problem seems baked in. I took a look in the options nothing seems to be relevant to the this. Also no the task forces are not set to computer, and this is a global problem that affects all task forces, not just particular ones. So i am thinking of some setting ...

Brad,

No, I am simply wondering why an off-map route that is available in the latter half of '43 was not available from the start. It's just a minor part of the game that has always bugged me. I have no problem with the layout of the map; just with that particular movement design choice ...

That may well be the case. If so, it makes as much sense as sending convoys from Abadan to Colombo or Bombay via the Gibraltar Strait.
Maybe so, but it’s an option …. what do you do if a jfb has taken Ceylon and closed off that part of IO showing on the map..
