At some levels of zoom in several areas around western Europe and north west Africa the map texture is replaced by a grey or black box. Moving camera or changing zoom level usually fixes it.

I have noticed similar bugs with a few of the other options, like inclined belt and magazine box so it's an issue with the auto designer, nothing to do specifically with increased elevation.

I have noticed this in later battles as well using cav corps in december 1941, I can take more screenshots. In my experience they are outperformed by every other infantry element.

I have tried using them to bomb semi freshly captured rail yards, hopefully before my opponent can get fighters in range but to no avail, they are always intercepted, and suffer huge losses and deal no damage to the rail yard or port. Any tips?
