Windtraps? They do build them. Previously, they built them even when they weren't really useful. They should extend the water mine (which I've seen them do previously).

I checked a save from late 2021 (Oceania came out March 2023, for reference) and the same behaviour was present there, so it's not a recent change. Just easy to miss with how many systems the game has! Not sure just going back to the save will do it, that should be a game engine thing. However, may...

Like I said, the accounting appears correct to me. However, I believe this behavior changed with the Oceana DLC or soon after. I don't recall the same drop in IP prior, hence my confusion of whether it represented a bug or not.

Odd thing on diplomacy with other Majors. Open Contact has a higher difficulty with a better relationship, which seems counterintuitive.

I experimented with Plea for Friendship and every time I played it on a certain regime, the difficulty of open contact increased.

I can confirm that in 1.26g the AI will make effective use of ICBMs. They struck all my population centers, multiple times. There's nothing left - no industry, no people. My capital city has a rad level of over 3600.

Planetary Wind Speed

Some planet types (colossus, large) seem to have some rather extreme wind speeds -- up to hundreds of meters per second. I think the last colossus I generated had something like 300m/s -- over 1000km/h. Yet flight was still possible on the planet, which seems improbable.

Late game AI, Extreme difficulty seems predisposed to create lots of Atomic Launchers of questionable utility. With range of only 2, it never uses them effectively.

I don't think the players should be able to see the exact value associated with their relationship with other majors (especially AI). They should have some indication on their general status, apart from COLD/HOSTILE/FRIENDLY, but having the exact numeric value leads to fairly boring games. It's too ...

If you expand the new zone to the next zone borders, effectively leaving the old zone cut-off, the game will automatically incorporate that territory into the the new zone. It took me a while to figure that one out, but it does work and is fairly intuitive.

I think its completely random? Ive seen light industry I being built first and ive seen private sector build 10 other things before it. But overall i think we really need early game rebalance.
