....and we're not talking about anything that will steal more than a few hours of dev time.
Adding a button to the ingame modloader UI "Upload/Update to Steam" and tie a wee script to it to execute the command line would probably take even less.
And dozens of other little tiny things...

Blaming the uninformed player is a popular refrain of more seasoned players on the these forums, but is a luxury most game developers cannot afford.
Those seasoned players did their research and learned how the game works by playing it...so they earned the ropes without anybody holding their hand ...

This is not the first thread where a player makes a gameplay error that they conclude must be a broken/bugged part of the game. That means that the game isn't effectively communicating to the player what it needs from them. It isn't a design failure at all, and the game is brilliant. But if a ...

after the rift events, I found a damaged shakturi battleship as an event. There was some text while entering it, but I can not reconstruct it directly. It is in the Abandoned Ships and Bases list repairable, but around 20 years later they never repaired it :? .

I play now Endless Space 2 and because of the Amazon Prime Definitive Edition does not support mods and edited the Core XML files and all changes beside technoligies changes take affect also in savegames. So it is possible for XML files as I read it also works for savegames if you mod the game and ...

There's a text file in the data folder with the other xmls, I think it's called descriptions or something. You can search for the name of traits there, and usually they are accompanied by a description. But not always. And some of them are scattered all over the place.

Character traits are almost completely obfuscated and I don't really understand why.
Maybe it was just a oversight at release but I think it would be great if they could be externalised to XML so we could
A: understand what each trait does
B: Mod them
C: Create our own generic and unique character ...

So are you saying the issue is caused by hanger bays for fighters and not enough docking bays?

Absolutely! Also by taking over too many worlds in short period of time, this why there is literally a thousand freighters in the building queue that can be seen around the planet as raw structures ...

3- I sometimes get confused on the research screen, it's difficult to follow the pre-requisites for some technologies.

how so ? after just a few games its almost a no brainer which ones first then second then situational then just for the sake of it....by then games are usually won (or lost) and ...

Happend to me yesterday like 5 times in a row on 2000 star galaxy playing Human & all ...

Star-Port at Planet construction queue clogged up with hundreds of freighters and only 2 Yards and 10 Docking slots in total on the Star-Port. Planet surrounded by Freighter hulls in construction and not clogged up ...

You need to set the access right correctly as insteand of dl the save it asks to sent a requeest for permission...errr

Star systems overlapping

The distance between the 2 stars is so little that they are overlapping somehow into each other and one gets blocked out when zooming in and is unaccessible to interact with.
Think the function of drawing systems may need another look. Maybe 2M minimum distance is in order ?
