[NO FIX][1676] Unable to load scenario

I was building a scenario which then crashed after I attempted to turn on the satellite 2 map. (It actually froze my entire PC and I had to power down to use it again.) when attempting to load the scenario again to work on it, the scenario description is replaced with the following:

ERROR - Unable ...

Re: Some Easy and Basic Questions about Cargo

Semi related but it’s worth pointing out that beachhead seizure is usually done via air assault just a few minutes before the landing craft arrive these days, with a pre-landing force delivered by helicopter or tilt rotor aircraft. Planners tend to avoid contested landings whenever possible, and ...

Re: Questions about platoons

Largely I just design around it.

Ground units in general and the non-mechanized light infantry platoons in particular exist in game for basically two reasons imo: firstly to be dropped onto objective points, and secondly to be shot at. I think of them as a cargo item, not an actual fighting unit ...

Re: Helicopters instantly turning around without rearming

Yes it is from that, I found my grandpa’s paper copy of it and thought it would be interesting to recreate.

I’m still not sure that this is working properly. With unlimited magazines on shouldn’t they still replenish weapons even if they aren’t in the magazine? My understanding is the magazine is ...

Re: Helicopters instantly turning around without rearming

I made it, and unlimited magazines are set to on so shouldn’t that not be an issue? And even it it weren’t, wouldn’t the WAD behavior be to set them to the reserve loadout?

Helicopters instantly turning around without rearming

Apologies if this is a misclicked game option (and I have a sinking feeling that it is) but the Hind's stationed on the Moskva will instantly turn around and be ready to launch without actually rearming, and they wont have their spirals or rockets.

To replicate:
Launch a hind from the Moskva in ...

There's a reason the Danes call the Harpoon the "oopsie missile"

Re: [WAD] B1676 Friendly fire on NOCOMM units

I apologize if I'm missing something, but the P-3 is ID'd as friendly ('A' beneath contact) and the NASAMS Air ROE is set to tight. They will engage even if manually ID'd as friendly with 'F" keypush.

B1676 Friendly fire on NOCOMM units

I had noticed this behavior a few times on enemy units and managed to catch it perfectly on a save here. The NASAMS at Zamboanga/Edwin Andrews will try to engage the friendly P-3 shortly after unpause, I imagine the RBS 70s will join in shortly after.

My internals, if helpful:

Re: [1645] AAW patrol @ 220ft despite setting for 36K

I've had the same issue, unassigning the unit and reassigning it after launch almost always fixes this and several other mission logic behavior issues I've had (RTB immediately after takeoff being the chief one)

ARM's miss 100% of the time by ~1000ft

Neither the AS-11s nor AS-9s hit a single time on this scenario, either as part of a SEAD patrol mission or manually launched and auto-engaged targets.

Thank you for your time devs :)

Re: Question about F/A-18 Super Hornet: E vs F

Both can do the same thing, the exact same thing in fact. The aircraft are totally fungible in capabilities (and literally totally fungible in CMANO) but not the same in what each excels at. Equipping the F with the air-air armament makes a lot of sense if there's an extremely complicated ...

Also, you can tweak the settings at which old contacts disappear in the cog wheel settings menu to make them last longer.

I've been trying to experiment to find out myself. I'll be sure to post if I can ever find a pattern for how the facility repairs work.

Pretty clever idea. If you do end up making the script you should post it so others can use, I know I would!

Re: Scenario 1: Down Bird

I'm having the exact same problem. I loaded the marines up as cargo into the choctaw and dropped them right on top of the wreckage, nothing happens. I get no messages after the one ordering a shootdown of all overflying aircraft.

Edit: you can ignore the wreckage, you only get score from sinking ...
