Can someone please explain what this indication denotes? Is it dBs measured at the point of the sound source? Is it an absolute number or is dBs above the ocean's ambient noise? I am trying to understand how is this indication related to the Signature Type mentioned on the unit details of each ...

Thanks. Fixed for the next update. Here's the updated scenario in the meantime.

Change Log:
- The Iranian bottom fixed arrays are no longer auto detected.
- Fixed USN submarine loadouts. Was an error in the ini.

Aircraft needs to follow FP rules, if you want to manually change plot/speed/altitude unassign them from the mission and you can change the values.


That being right, why does the leader have a different behavior?

Either none follow the order unless you unassign and give a manual order or ...

In Scenario 2 (Ground Pounder) the briefing speaks about submarines loaded with 8x UGM 109C and 8x UGM 109D (the latter being cluster warheads), but actually the loadout of the two subs is exclusively UGM 109C

When the A/Cs assigned to a mission are all still arming, then the mission planner does not allow to set the WRA for their loadouts (presumably it does not recognise as mission weapons the weapons in the loadouts that are still loading). Check the SEAD mission

1) that only works in CM if you purposely play a certain way. Click off a unit and you instantly complete all spotting reports and the complex spot reporting goes away for the player. Steel Beasts, I think, does a better job of representing reporting and radio traffic.

The way that I understand it, in theory, the Side Doctrine is the main governing body. The Mission Doctrine will overrule the Side Doctrine, if it differs. And, the Unit Doctrine is will overrule the Side Doctrine and the Mission Doctrine. That would mean that the Unit Doctrine TRUMPS all of them ...

Make sure under the "configure" tab for AAR you're checking both "Launch mission without tankers in place (extremely risky!) and "proceed the flight with no tankers in place". If both of those aren't checked for each pool/task/mission they won't launch. If I do that in your save it works once I ...

I feel this relaxes to ascm launchers from airborne platforms only. Please check

If there is land on the projected path of a ASCM (the example is with Sea Eagle), the refuses to launch even though on the path of the missile the target is before the land.
