RE: Finished Lost Victories

Still up at this hour. The game goes on. I'm probably so rusty now a beginner could do better. That is why I haven't looked at it for a while that plus I had to make a choice, Matrix or my Marriage.

RE: Finished Lost Victories

Thank you. It has been a while since I have had the time. Lot of new names and many of the old, I see. One of these days I will update my old scenarios & release the ones I never put out. Most of them are from v7

Just curious. Where did you end up? At Sevastopol or on the Donetz River. Did you capture Kharkov?

RE: Why the Fascination?

<t> What a great topic. I had to chime in here and come in from the cold[:)] I tend to agree with my Lost Victories comrades. For me the fascination with the Wehrmacht stems from the underdog factor, the nearness of their victory and the uniforms, decorations and equipment. All the way back to WWI t...

RE: I'm Resigning as Moderator

<t> Glenn, I have to let you know you have done a wonderful job with the forum. I was a coward and backed out of the job when it was offered to me. It took a lot of courage to take on this task, in it's own way as daunting as designing a megacampaign. SPWaW will live on just like it's board counterp...

RE: New scenario maker units in upcoming V8.x patch

Great job as usual, Harry The mine dogs are a fun little unit? Not if yoy are one of the dogs[:D]
The only thig I could think of adding would be the self propelled Karl Mortars. I thought we had put them in for LV but I do not see them in the Norway OOB.

Think twice ...

<t> ...before posting once. Reading all of the vitriol that has been on this forum in the last few weeks has been a painful experience. I have seen many of my closest associates being maligned with hurtful remarks and I imagine that many out there are becoming discouraged by the tone of the forum la...

Lost Victories-response

<t> THERE ARE NO PHOTOS OR DOCUMENTS MISSING> TO STATE THIS IS MISLEADING. I RESENT THE IMPLICATION THAT LOST VICTORIES IS UNFINISHED. tHIS IS SIMPLY UNTRUE. There are no scenarios missing and the game progresses as planned out. <br/> <br/> As I have stated in the past, Lost Victories is playable to...

It is also Mike Wood's birthday

David is the heart of this game but Mike is the genius who took Gary Grigsby's antiquated code and turned it into SPWaW in Windows. All hail Mike. Many happy returns

<t>Think of it as a matter of taste.; I made a node for Lost Victories which had Vebber's company pulled out of the front for severe loses and assigned to Sonderkommando 4A under Sturmbannfuhrer Paul Blobek. For 6 turns the player had to sit guarding prisoners with the SS men and then they would be ...
