Re: Question on Graphics

Thank you for your response.

The ability to update/mod the game art has always been a big strength of the WITP game system (to which I have contributed extensively in the past).

First of all congratulations to the team on updating and expanding the WITP game system into a whole new world. :D

I would like to ask how the underlying graphics engine has been updated for this new release. As great as the WITP/AE game system is, it's Achilles Heel has always been that old ...

It appears the close button is placed relative to the bottom edge rather the top left corner of the fixed size credits window. It is not an obvious button at the best of ...

Now that Google has disabled Halsey 's site, the only place you can find his download files (in particular the beautiful plane tops and sides created by Cathartes that are "foldered" and thus change appearance over time) are in the internet "Wayback Machine". Kudos to Nikel for finding them and ...

Rotating Art Mod Tool

A bump for new players since it is buried so deep in the thread now:

This link to WITP-AE Revolving Bitmap Distribution Manager V1.6 contains a set of MS-DOS script files (with instructions) that you will find very useful if you wish to create your own rotating aircraft side and/or top art set and ...

Spot On SirHorace

I got the game to work with Win10 by downloading the Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)

Unzip to some convenient temporary folder and run DXSETUP.exe

Thanks for the heads up. :D :D
