When can we expect feedback?

Any idea when we will see a web page or hear any comments from the developers?

RE: What Do You Think Needs to be in World In Flames PC Game

<t> I would like a periodic update of how the game is developing simular to what has happened in the EIA formum. It first keeps all of us somewhat content knowing the game is being worked on, plus it focuses the discussions on the forum to things in developement at that time. I would rather talk ...

I agree that the original rules work just fine. Also in my experiance this temporary control of home country provinces through more than one or two economic phases does not occur very often.

<t>My two Cents<br/>
<br/>
I feel that the core rules should be followed as much as possible. Deviations should only occur out of necessity. Rule variations should be introduced through option toggles that can be turned on and off. This will allow two things: there are strong opions on certian rules ...

<t>I agree with Hoche's comments. If you add simutaneous movement you change the game. The slow downs only occur when at war and with enforced peace this is not as often as people think. I believe that if at war it is the responibilty of a country to have a faster turn around time than normal to ...

<t>Yes and no in many games we have made it to the however several games have ended a year early with a projected winner due to enforced peace requirements against the key countries. These have all been a group of us getting together over the years however I do believe the unfinished games still ...

<t>Reknoy in response to your comments:<br/>

1. The combat does not need to be trivial. Both players must agree in order for this combat to be trivial (7.5.3) This is a valid tactic that has the limiting factor that when the corps is destroyed it has to wait until an economic phase to be ...

<t>Well for the past year and a half my most memorable moment is that a group of us (7 players now we started with eight but lost one along the way) have gotten together every other Friday night and play yet another game. We have had the rare 8 month game session (world wide enforced peace) and to ...

AI

<t>I don't envy the task of programming an AI for this game. The greatest attribute of this game is country interaction. I have played this game for many years (10+) and have found it to be most enjoyable with 6 or more players. This is due to the wheeling and dealing between countries. However you ...

I know its a stupid question But?

When I first load the game I see that I can hit esc to exit to dos but when I play a turn and go to the menu screen I no longer have that option. How do I exit the game?

To wait for 2.4 or not

A friend and I are going to start a PBEM game and I was wonder if the 2.4 enhancements would be out soon. I like the idea of cutting china out. Is the 2.4 version a ways away or will it be coming within the next month. Any info on a potential timeline woud be greatly appriciated.

<t>ADG is making a computer version of there World In Flames which is doing just that all the game mechanics without an AI. I do have the conventional dos memory set to 640 kb and the ems to 10 meg. I also have installed the original 1.2 ver and it works fine I just cannot get the 2.2 matrix version past the credit screen.
