Basically the loss of Vienna was insufficient to cause hte Austrians to give up - they still had their major army close by - and that army defeated him at ASpern-Essling.

Wagram was required to destroy the Austrian army and force terms.

@Lobster - there is no scenario directory in documents - the only scenario folder is wher I installed it under c:/games/matrix games/The Operational Art of War IV ...

The folder button is the problem - when I check it get: "The system cannot find the path Specified".

IIRC there is a "hard link" between Gallipoli and Istanbul - you cannot invade Istanbul unless you hold Gallipoli - even if you are Russia.
