<r>I checked but saw no possibility for a cheaper but slower delivery. Considering that I am a very regular surfer, if it happens that I missed this, then the site is wrong in its conception. Within my brain, the very few neurones that are still actives had no problems to understand how to order ...

Carzy shipment cost

Correct me if I am wrong, but for SPWAW 5.0, (value 20+2$) Global Express asks 44$ to send it to Belgium. This is more or less what I pay for RGW (soft+shipment) through C&B. It sounds as if Matrix were not really interrested in the european market.

I will already be happy with the mediteranean game which is scheduled after battleline. Meantime, you will have to rely on the antic 'high command'.

In all strategic game the AI is the problem.
Why not creating the game engine without AI just for PBEM, hot seat and if success, online market?

Seems that we are back to the question to a successor for WIR. WiTP is fine but we are still waiting for a playable WWII simulation. Schwerpunkt has choosen to limit its game to Russia ans I totally agrees. I am tired of all the games with great potential play, but in practise, are ...

Hi,

I play lot's of PBEM. I tried 'compaqnet.<country>' but it's not reliable, then 'usa.net' it is ok but some problems with attach upload. My favorite is yahoo.com as the most stable and attach are correct.

I just wanted to point out that making an AI perfect for war games can not work since the number of calculations would be so large. So AI's for war games must be done on "if then else" commands. Basically, the ...

Now to forecast future moves you will put 40 to the power of the number of moves you want to predict. i.e. to forcast the next 3 moves for yourself and the other side you get 40*6<br/>
which is 4 billion. This number ...

<t>Just a practical idea : I do not think it is possible to merge all those games. But what may be done, is to have the strategic level game, generating scenario files to be loaded by lower level operational/tactical games. There is no need there of testing Scenario game balance, as the input would ...

The lan side was very basic in Pacwar. The game was essentially made of Ships and planes with some land units. I am still hoping for a ...

<t>Hello,<br/>

There have been some attempts in the past to produce a WW1 game, but the specific context this epoch was never understood. The main reason of these repetitive failures was a false appreciation of WW1. These errors come from the influence of Western front, which hide the ...

<t>I have more than 100 books on WW1, most of them are memories. Nowadays people focuses on West front, but more than 15 millions soldiers never saw this front! Not convinced ? then consider fighting in Mesopotamia, Palestine, Dardanelles, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Russia (including Caucase ...
