Check out Ostheer: July-December 1943

This re-release is very informative. Gives one the idea of a Aug 43 scenario and/or campaign game. :cool:

Pz Bn's switch from medium tanks to AG's

<t>(My appologies if this is an old question being repeated)<br/>
<br/>
I notice that when there is a shortage of german medium tanks Stug III's will be substituted by the game. (This is over and above the third bn being reorganized as SPAT bn.)<br/>
1) If the number of tanks available becomes ...

Just last year using the original version and playing the 43 Campaign game as the Germans I set one a/c factory to ME262's. It went into production January 44.

I agree late war fighters could carry out ground attacks, but early war fighters couldn't because the planes weren't designed to carry bombs and such, or extra ammo for that matter.<br/>

Fighters execute interdiction, ground support, & air filed attack?

<t>Better late then never I suppose.<br/>
<br/>
I have tried regulary to get a fighter unit to execute one of these attacks and they don't. The mission can be assigned but when the attack is made nothing happens.<br/>

What is the point in the fighters having Load values if they can't use them ...

The expectation is fair because this is a game with Ultra a given. See Sir Hinsley's lecture. via <URL ...
