The people making Lock On Modern Air Combat have spent something like 3 years working on that thing, and it will sell for about $40-$50. And, personally, it will provide me with as many hours of entertainment as WitP.

<t>I too want Matrix to take in goobs of money . . .<br/>

so long as it isn't mind. (that is the other part of free enterprise)<br/>

Personally, I am not a big fan of the "buy their game so they stay in business" charity that seems to be the mindset of many gamers. Yes, I support Matrix ...

Because, in the eyes of the average consumer, 69.99 is $10 cheaper than %70.00

<t>What I want to know, is how come everyone plays scenario 17 as opposed to 16 (or whatever the historical grand campaign is). Even if we accept the fact that Midway did not happen, 17 and 19 are pure fancy, as the US would under no circumstances have tried a campaign in the South Pacific in the ...

What's wrong with Black Sheep Squadron? Sure, its not historically accurate by any stretch of the imgination, but it was a show about World War II fighter planes.

<t>The IJN's plan at Midway was worse than complicated or convoluted; it was in fact possessed of the most dangerous atribute a operation plan can have, that of being contradictory to its own goals.<br/>

First, the IJN plan depended on surprise, yet they neglected to take the steps to insure ...

That did the trick. Of course, to test it, I had to switch my CDRW drive to master, as my DVD drive died on me.

Cannot Run Uncommon Valor

<t>When I try to run the game (either fromt he Matrix menu or .exe file itself) I get the little hourclass icon on the mouse cursor and the Ctrl-Alt-Del menu shows Uncommonvalor running for a couple of seconds, but then it simply stops running (dissappears from the Close Program Menu), and, of ...

<t>Tanaka was arguably the best surface commander of in the IJN if not of all the combatants. Well, I chose Coral Sea for my first run of the game. I gained a decisive victory by sinking the Shoho, Shokaku, and one DD, and only losing a DD in return. I never did find the tranpsorts, but I suspect the Japanese withdrew them after I pummeled their air support.

<t>I don't mind paying $50.00, but it would be nice if that price included a manual. Now I will have to spend another $5.00-$10.00 printing and binding the manual (I am not about to just read the online manual). Personally, one of my favorite part of getting a new game is getting to a brand new ...
