Zero Rally

<t>Hey folks, I know I saw this somewhere in the forums but sadly I can't find it again. Here's my problem:<br/>
<br/>
I'm playing "Watchword Freedom" with a fairly balanced force. However, I find my forces, especially the Panthers and Tigers, dropping down to zero rally. I don't understand. Can ...

Intelligence

<t>I know that certain non-historical aspects need to be built into the game. However, I curious about intelligence (S2?) concerning mine fields and bunkers…especially during assault scenarios.<br/>

A thorny question

<t>I'm about to get back into armor modeling (along with SPWAW...yeah, I got time for that) and I was looking at a guidebook at Border's books last night. In this book, the author describe several methods to paint and detail a Sherman tank. It looked great, very realistic yet... All of the hatches ...

Thanks again

Hate to ask, but...

Hey folks...been away for a while...moved, new job, reformatted my computer and so on. I lost my copy of WaW and I miss it. Is there some way to get a new copy without going online? I can't tie the phone line up for 85 hours. :-(

Any suggestions?

<r>Good points, all. It seems that if ahistorical games are a problem, then better communication with our opponents is one answer. If two people make clear and reasoned guides for the game, the resulting contest will be much more satisfying to both parties. <br/>

I would suggest one strong ...

<t>I played around with this as well. A funny thing happend tho'. My German Panthers became frozen in place and hardly ever rallied. I checked the unit and found that that tank's rally number was "0". Is there a provision in the game that if you use "captured" equipment there is a penalty?<br/>

Actually, given the examples you used and the fact that we are dealing with a/c without the benefit infrared targeting, radar, or the like, the a/c act pretty close to reality. I remember reading about an incident that occured during a Marine invasion. It seems that the unit in ...

A. There is only one (that I can think of right now) incident in the ETO where heavies were used in close proximity to ground forces. The results were disasterous. I know that many of us take historical ...

German planes came swooping down on me from behind. No problem, I thought. The landing craft are practically bristling with .50 cal AA. Plus, there are a LOT of landing craft. This should be fun.<br/>
