<t>You guys need to learn to meditate. Imagine yourself as a Japanese soldier stranded on one of those Soloman island chains, holed up in a cave with just grubs and such to eat, wondering if those dragon like creatures that have come down to the beach to feed on the carcasses of your comrades are ...

Multi-player?

Is there any capacity in this game to play via e-mail in a multi-player mode? I'm interested in whether or not you can have more than one player per side.

<t>Does anyone here remember the rulebook for Advanced Squad Leader? That was just a notebook with a cover pasted on it. <t>I really hope to see an airbase on the Indian mainland between Ceylon and Calcutta that would be able to attack any Japanese invasions of Ceylon or Calcutta. There may not be room on the map to have a base to represent the west coast of India, which would be a nice place to put the factories and ...

After watching a Japanese air collapse even with air groups of excellent experience, I came to believe what Major Tom said, the very high durability ratings of the US aircraft in version 2.2 was the heart of the problem. I say bring them back down.

<t>While I totally love the idea of eliminating most of the Chinese and Korean bases along with most of the Chinese and Japanese armies and air units in China, Manchuria, and Korea, I worry that many problems would crop up with hardcoding. If that could be worked around, then I think this version 2 ...

<t>So, Tomanbeg, if what you are saying is right, there isn't any point in having a game of WW2 Pacific War that goes beyond mid-1943. Allies get hellcats and corsairs and thunderbolts, and we can just say "game over!" Uncommon Valor will be a fine game, but no need to make a game covering the full ...

I think the strength of enemy air zones deters ability to react. In the Indonesia area, the Japanese air zones should get so strong that even Doorman does not react.

<t>I haven't bought "Shogun: Total War", but it sounds like it's got something that would be very important in Napoleonics: the visual impact of battle. Napoleonics has a very devoted following in miniatures. It's eye candy for the pagentry of the carnage. That should be captured.<br/>
