If you park at a level 5 port with no upgrades with a BB or a CV. Do you get 100% supply if you are right in the port?

I'm guess I'm asking if the upgrade benefit is worth it if you are willing to shuttle from port to port anyhow.

Is there a way to quantify this?

So like a level five port with an upgrade of 1, or 2, etc. Does a BB not get its large shells replaced if only upgrade of 3? A CV not get fresh torps if below x, or something like that.

It doesn't seem like it connects to what exactly is happening in the game ...

At what number does the small port allow larger ships to reammo?

So does a level 5 port with one naval construction point extra allow Crusiers to rearm there?

So in USA strategic terms, little sense in researching command and control, and perhaps to a lesser degree logistics in this instance. I know logistics impacts the larger USA position, but for island hoping not so much?

How do you get a port to come over to your control?

I assume you need to occupy two sides of the port to switch sides. But there are a few quirks to this in the game, and maybe it is just a bug. But the control of the port switches because a ship is forced to retreat in that direction. So then the ...
