RE: The Thread!!!

<t> I would say every country has its share of ignoramuses. I'm a college professor by trade and I would say that the truth is somewhere shy of the alarmism induced by erroneous answers to geography quizzes. Definitely a lot of rednecks, but also a lot of educated people.<br/>

RE: 3 years and nothing changed

<t> Hi all,<br/>
<br/>
I've been absent from these forums for a long while, but it's fall and fall always makes me think of the Hurtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, which leads to getting out my old wargames. ANYWAY. I had to post in this thread after having read the whole thing.<br/>

1.3 No torps over Pearl?

<t> I just started a long campaign with AI as Japan.<br/>

My BB's got only slightly pounded at Pearl...I think the worst had only 34 flotation damage, though several had plenty of SYS damage. But none sunk.<br/>

I appreciate the patch BUT

OK now, when the AI plays the US in the Coral Sea scenario it STILL just sits there in Noumea with its carriers and won't come out and play. This problem has been there since v.1!![:@]

RE: "Review" in Computer Games

<t> The thing that I *love* about WITP is its detail, though I don't like micro-management. The problem as it stands is that you really have to micro-manage everything. If only features like auto-convoy, auto commander selection, automatic Jap industry optimization, and AI taking over UK/China ...

We haven't started yet. I think we're going to wait for 1.3 since it's close, unless sepanski already found another game. If he has, we're on.

RE: How many WITP players are aspiring/current aviators?

<t> Okay, here's a couple questions for those who know (I don't). Also, why is it a straight grade when aircraft are flown in all ...
