If you have "Fast Artillery" on (preferences screen) then there is no arty noises. Turn it off and you should be good to go.

I tend to avoid AC all together; since they are essentially 'airbore artillery" and have this nasty habit of veering off target for their own greater glory, why not just use the real deal? Offboard Artillery is the god of war, boys and girls <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Abandoning and then re-mounting vehicles

<t>Ok, 2-part question here...<br/>
<br/>
All vehicles which have been abandoned are counted as destroyed at the end of the scenario. Is that all ENEMY vehicles which have been abandoned, or does that include friendlies (which presumably would be recovered/refurbished/repaired/etc.), too?<br/>

Since there has been minimal chiming-in, I'll chime in a second time <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

I would like to see both OOBs included, or if that's not possible, then go with the v7 OOBs and simply advise of possible minor inconsistancies.

Time to branch-out?

<r>A while ago I asked if maybe it wasn't time for the Matrix crew to move on from SPWAW and concentrate on CL/CA and other upcoming projects.<br/>

I have since been assured that continuing support of SPWAW is not taking away from other efforts...and I've also heard that the SPWAW MCs are ...

<t>Have to agree fully, combined-arms is the way to go; in '43 or '44, the German general staff was trying to come up with ways to counter blitzkrieg tactics (which the Russians were by then performing so well against them) and combined-arms is what they came up with.<br/>

<r>Paul, my chiming-in goes as follows:<br/>
<br/>
Include both OOBs; have the "original" one used with the making of MCLV be the default install and have v7 OOBs on disc to install at owner's discretion with a little warning message about possible incompatabilities w the MC.<br/>

Will MCLV disc V.7 OOBs?

I've poked-around some old posting and have seen the question alluded to but never answered: I know MCLV will come with SPWAW v7.0; will it also come with the v7.0 OOBs? Please dear God say yes... <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">
