RE: Season Option

I thought it might be something else I was missing. I did 3 times and the last time I used a 75 by 75 map with 4 sides and it ended at the same point all 3 times. Right after the last season change.

I'll check that out. thanks

Season Option

<t> I just purchased the game. I downloaded the 1.20 patch and played the tutorial. Went to try out random scenario and used seasons. It said each season would have so many turns and then it would repeat. What happened was after all 4 seasons it declared a victor. I looked around and didn't see a ...

RE: Divisional Units

<t> If I'm understanding your question it sounds like you have a stack with 1 division and a seperate brigade. All units attached to a division will not show in the unit panel but pop up over the map when you highlight a division. So in effect they are part of the same force as they are stacked ...

RE: Army HQ

If you're playing the April 61 scenario there are no armies available initially to build. I believe the first ones come in june or july, but that's from memory.

RE: modding question

<t> The script.ini file is used by the editor to load a scenario and then you save it like you would a turn and it generates the .scn file. The ini file itself isn't used in the game engine as scenario data. The script62.ini is just an alternate script for a different scenario as you can only have 1 ...

RE: new to game, got questions

<t> 1) Edit: After going in and messing with it I realized what I described from memory was moving a unit attached directly to a corps or army to another corp or army. Divisions do need to be disbanded to reorganize as far as I can tell. I tried experienting with ways of getting bdes out of them and ...

RE: Leader Experience

<t> Page 37 conflicts with page 64 which covers in more detail Battle Aftermath. It specifically states that seniority can be lost for losing and attributes may suffer slightly for losing. It never says experience is lost, but does say experience is gained in winning. So either page 64 is right or ...

RE: Activate rule

<t> Sorry misunderstood. Thought from your post you didn't want it happening.<br/>
It's in the manual and I don't remember all the specifics. It's under the leaders section. I believe and someone can correct me but it's based on their strategic rating and can be modified by&nbsp;some abilities ...

RE: hotseat/solitaire play?

<t> Now it's not my turn to understand. [&:]&nbsp; The orders would be given in two phases just like it is currently but the resolution would only be after the 2nd player clicked end turn. It would then execute all the orders entered. To me that's the same as the current system, the only difference ...

RE: hotseat/solitaire play?

<t> Alot of games have a hotseat option that's seperate from PBEM where once the game loads it's divided into orders phases for each side but you don't have to save and exit out and reload the other player's order's phase.<br/>
<br/>
For example you would load your save and the CSA would be active ...

RE: hotseat/solitaire play?

As of now you have to use the PBEM structure, but I hope they add hotseat where you don't have to go back and forth loading the seperate turns.

RE: Demo runs REAL slow, is it me?

<t> One thing I found with sluggish performance is to go into that settings program for the game (not in game options) and change the mouse so it doesn't use the in game graphic but the regular mouse. I forget if it's from hardware to software or the other way around. I have a new computer with lots ...

Online Store is Ridiculous

<t> I ordered ACW last week before going out of town. I normally do digital download and physical shipment so I can get the printed manual and have the game right away. But since I wasn't going to be around I just got the physical shipment. So after a week no game and I check the site and it's ...
