In windows 98, go to your windows folder and look for a shortcut called "MS-Dos Mode for Games". Double clicking on that will reboot the computer to Dos mode and you should be ready to go.

The only thing i saw that you would want to change is in your config.sys file. The line Device=C:\WINDOWS\Himem.Sys should be the first line and then the emm386.exe line, and then the DOS=HIGH,UMB line. Glad you got things working.

In autoexec.bat on the "LH mscdex" line, at the end of that line put a space then "/e". This switch loads the cd driver in expanded memory. Make sure you load the mouse.sys or mouse.com in high memory too.
