Lutzow and Von der Tann

Beautiful battlecruisers! Sleek, clean lines (like all German capital ships of the time), great firepower (for WWI) and superior protection.

German vessels of WWI are head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to pleasing the eye.

I can agree in certain cases, but not every city was as defensible as say Leningrad. Perhaps some cities would get a seige value, some higher than others, and some, none at all.

Many sources quote Germany of having 80 million people, with the Ivans somewhere around 200 million. Early on, Russia had boys and women in uniform, as well.

Bombing the Reich (or Russian oilfields) is a good idea, despite the heavy losses that come from Flak. Instead of making it a strategy to destroy the other's factories, it's a great way to encourage him to have air assets in places he should.
