Same problem

<t>I have had the same problem as well. During an invasion of Shortland Island, I sent down an entire fleet of DMS, but they found no mines, so I send down my transports loaded with the 1st marine division. And voila, half of my ships hit mines and I lose a singnificant # of men and transports. I ...

<t>Thank you for your quick reply, I already know about that editor in the scenario folder I was wondering if there were plans to release a more powerful editor for UV with capabilities such as modifying weapons, adding aircraft, ships, production options, etc.(like the one they plan to put into ...

Any chance of a UV Editor?

<t>I have seen some interesting posts concerning WITP's editor, and was wondering if a editor with equal capabilities as one on WITP would be released for UV. (modifying production, ship weapon upgrade dates, adding ships, aircraft, etc....). I would love to see one for UV, it would make the game ...

Weapons upgrades

<t>I've seen alot of requests about the editor, and I agree: Cram as much as you can in the editor:) (If possible). I am not sure if anyone has raised this topic, but how about weapon upgrades, additions, radar, on ships? The IJN never gets any radar in UV and I have yet to see an IJN ship upgraded ...

Wolf packs work

<t>Hi, <br/>
I use a two sub wolfpack and it has been quite effective. As for your comment on the rather odd happenings with subs not attacing on the surface, I agree with you. I put a post in the thread for patch 1.3 about that. I think you should be able to tell your sub commanders not to attack ...

CLAA Atlanta Graphic

<r>This is the new CLAA Atlanta Graphic. Features new 12.7cm dual purpose gun turrets, smoke stacks, new bow and stern, overhauled the whole ship to make it look less "fat", crane between smoke stacks, antena, AA guns etc... After checking out the polls, I was quite bored, had nothing to do; I need ...

Since the Atlanta CLAA leads the poll 4-0-0-0 so far, I will watch for a day or so to see if the lead stands. If it does, I will start work on Atlanta class CLAA.

Tell me what you think about the modifications.:) Comments are always welcome.

Which ships should be edited? (Graphics)

<t>I have edited ship class bmps. And I would like to hear from you which type of ship should be fixed up to make it look more realistic? Give me your ideas and you could see your choice of ship reworked. There are more that look odd but, so far I have my eyes on these ships. If you have any ideas ...

Akitsuki Art

<r>This is my new Akitsuki DDAA graphic. Included Long lance torpedo launcher in midsection, fixed the Type 98 10cm turrets, made the bridge smaller (the bridge on IJN destroyers were quite small). Added some AA guns, reworked the bow, etc. I will continue to post these graphic modifications on this ...

Soryu/Hiryu art

<t>The Soryu/ Hiryu art seemed to be quite odd/inaccurate, so based on historical photographs, I remade one taking parts of Shokaku, Akagi, Kaga class and modifying it a bit. Features a new bridge, new everything. Especially the gun platform on the front. This class of carriers were the first in the ...

Submarines?

<t>For 1.3, would it be possible to tell the submarines to attempt to follow certain task forces, giving an order not to attack on surface, (after the 1.2 patch it's impossible to attack on the surface and I thought it would be nice if you could tell your sub commanders not to attack on surface ...

Production rates?

<t>Anyone have any clue on how to edit the Aircraft production rates? I was trying to create a custom campaign starting around late 1943~????, and was wondering if there was any way of changing production rates so that some planes such as the N1K2 would be included in the replacements pool.<br/>

All right!

<r>I agree with you completely. An editor makes an game different in a sense that you can "remake" the game and enjoy it time and time again. Being able to "remake" a game is something I thought that's what was missing from UV. With an editor that allows you to edit the stats of weapons, bombs ...

<r>Well, I have never said the Japanese were innocent for what they did through out the war. <t>As long as it's just a wargame that we are here to enjoy, I guess I will be able to tolerate it. Perhaps some of the posts gave me a negative impression. If people do not have problems writing American, why do we have problems writing Japanese? It is still a same 8 letter word. As long as the ...
