Hi Erik

okay I can buy that based on what I have seen, the bases I can not shut down should have tons of eng's in place, and in my case, what I seen with the JP side, I was not able to get any more troops to the base then what it had to start with

Hi Ent

Another point: in the UV bomber attack phase, some interceptions against P-39 fighter-bombers are returning messages of "driven off by defensive fire". Surely this is an error?

LOL not if it is a Head on attack !

<t>Hi Yamamoto
yes that is the point I was trying to make, in real life, you gamble or push, and people die, or more people die then should normally die, in game, it is a gamble, it works great, it don't, you can replay the turn or give up and start up a new war

in my new game, had a ...

2.10 Looks Great to me

I think the new patch looks great, Air to Air combat looked very good, bloody to both sides, and if you send in bombers with no fighters, don't expect many bombers back
Capital ships like Cv's and BB's witjout an escort. So if had no DD's available and ready at said ports then chances are no Capital ship committal. Now perhaps if you had sent those DD's back a few weeks before in order for them to be used as Escorts for Capital ships later ...

HI Samurai

sorry, have not seen this during any of my games, so can't really tell what is going on, only reason I offered a guess was seeing the Alf listed, if it is CAP units loseing planes and pilots, then I can not begin to think what is wrong
