I liked C64 War in the South Pasific game and I like also this Uncommon Valor. Pasific War is a game that i have never liked and i have never learned to play it.

Basically this can be done now in UV but main thing is that Navy commander would not be able to do Land/airforce orders... only move ships, do CV actions etc...

Same thing for Land/airforce commander.. he/she could only do Land/airforce actions, but not Navy actions.

I did put 24 F4F in it and used it for protecting my AP&AK against japanes air attacks. I'm not sure that can it repair damaged F4F planes when there is 24 instead 16 planes.

I have used to clear mines with my AP & AK & DD ships.... Well little bit expensive (lots of sinking ships) but it will reduce amount of enemy mines :D

My problem with minesweepers is that they refused to move enemy port and I have changed their orders "patrol/do not react enemy" but still my TF (3xDMS/5xMSW) has been standing 3 days without moving anywhere (and just got refuel from tankers).

Well you can allways look the hex number like 23,25 and coordinate your moves with numbers... You don't have to toggle hex view on :D

Ships Docked in port are easy targets for bombers (like in Pearl Harbour).

I'll never dock ships for long periods in range of enemy bombers, just unload cargo and back to get more supplies as soon as cargo is unloaded.
