Re: Swithcing between game and other programs causes issue

I have the exact same problem. I had played several years ago and with switch changes, it ran fine. I eventually removed it from my SSD for another game. But in trying to re-install it, even with the same switches I used in the past, I get the same green blocks instead of texts. Very frustrating.

RE: PT Boat changes?

The Brit PT boats at Hong Kong do start the game in a SC TF and their react range is correctly 0-6. If you disband that TF and then reform it, the react range maximum is now 1, not 6.

PT Boat changes?

<t> Just started a new campaign game 01) with the new patch downloaded today. American and Dutch PT boat task forces have only a max reaction range of 1. The preformed British PT boat force at Hong Kong has a react range of 6. When I disband the British force and reform another PT TF, the react ...

RE: 2 Chinese Units Missing

Big- I'm not sure what that means. The two units are not supposed to be in the game?

2 Chinese Units Missing

<t> I apologize if this has already been posted.<br/>
<br/>
In The Full Campaign as Allies, I have found that the 5th and 6th Chinese Corps (7795 and 7803) do not load in the game. They are in the scenario database and all other Chinese Corps (1st-4th, 7th-onwards) are present in the game.<br ...

Game not accepting valid serial number

I have bought, downloaded and installed WITP-AE. When I downloaded the beta patch and tried to install it, it says the serial number is not valid. I used the same serial number thats on the physical disk and on file in Matrix account. Any suggestions?

Scenarios?

Any word on scenarios being considered? I'd like to see one with Britain losing the air war and suing for peace, and one where Italy is able to defeat Greece without German help.

Can't open game manuals.

When I try to open the game manual, Acrobat opens but then pops a window that says "There was an error opening this document. This viewer can not decrypt this document." Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix? Thanks.

RE: Historic Japanese first turn question

I think my point was lost. Is it possible to edit the map positions of the Japanese air/sea/ and land forces at all, prior to beginning turn one? Thanks for the responses!

RE: Historic Japanese first turn question

I posed that scenario as an example, just to see if it were possible to try. The original Japanese battle plan was to lure the American Pacific Fleet into Japanese waters and that might be fun to try as well as other possible scenarios. SO... is it possible to do this?

Historic Japanese first turn question

<t> This has probably been asked a long time ago, but I can't find an answer. <br/>
<br/>
Does the game allow you to edit the starting position for the Japanese forces? For instance, instead of raiding PH on turn one, could you place the carrier task forces in a position to knock out the British ...

<t>Sounds like an interesting book. <br/>

Another good (but long..1100 pgs) book is John Toland's "The Rising Sun". For those here that haven't read it, it was written in 1970. The author has a Japanese wife and the book covers the period from the 1930's through 1945 from a Japanese ...
