PATHEtic!

<t>from the beginning of scenario 19 to almost a month through, port morsbey has allowed no more than 3-4 air strikes in that ammount of time due to "airfield closed, missions cancelled." This has happened every time i've started 19 and allows the japs to invade burma and gill gilli without worry of ...

Very nice Matrix...

<t>I really like the approach you've taken with UV. It's like you've released 20% of War in the Pacific for us to enjoy and to clean up the engine and interface so that when War in the Pac is released, it'll be that much better. I think all major projects like this should be done in the same mannor ...

Well that's too bad, I was hoping I'd be able to load them on transports and use them for invading a beach. But as you suggested Tanjman, it's happening, but i just can't see it.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, and thanks for the few suggestions on how to use them.

<t>Toaw is the best operational level strategy game. I've played it since the origional. From the origional to the COW edition, it's been patched many, many times. Do not expect TOAW to satisfy any desire to have large naval battles, as it's not modeled with much detail. Everything that has to do ...

How I want an Amphibious Assault...

<r>The way it looks from here, when making an amphibious assault on a hex, the *large* transports very simply dock right up to the beach, dirt, rock, 100 foot cliffs, whatever, and unload their troops with the greatest of ease. This would work fine if the transports were equipt with HELOCOPTERS !<br ...

thats strange, I was under the impression they were used to unload troops/vehicles. Is that historical, their use for supply?

Thanks for clearing it up, even though I am dissapointed as I thought they'd play a more significant role. I think they should be part of every invasion.

<t>Thanks Tanjman, but I've read the manual, and I understand the reasons for making PT boats and Barges. <br/>

The LC(I,M,VP) are landing craft for troops etc, that would be used to assault a beach, not deliver supplies. With that in mind, how are they used in the game?<br/>
