Carrier planes disappear

<t> Hi folks,<br/>
<br/>
I modified the WitP Scenario and played for the Japanese until early 43. Auto victory is achieved, but I'd like to go on to take out Calcutta and Karachi. But one thing makles the party stop for me: Suddenly, all Airgroups on Akagi (or Kaga?) vanish, only one which I ...

To buy or not to buy?

<t> Hi folks,<br/>
<br/>
been ashore for months, but now I'm in the mood to lead Kido Butai to bring destruction all over the pacific.<br/>
I'm thinking about getting AE (I'm familiar with WitP), but I don't know if this game is the right one for me.<br/>

For example, I'm not in the mood ...

RE: i played a similar game, or did i?

That was QQP's Battles of the South Pacific. A Game that had his roots in SSI/GG's War in South Pacific. Both were great fun at their time.
I never found out if there was an 'official' relation between QQP and SSI/GG

<t> UV is very different from WitP, not half as complex (or complicated[:)]) but it's a very good game. AE seem to be even more complex, but I still didn't buy it.<br/>

<t> My impression is not that the hits are less severe, but flooding and fire seems to be controlled much easier with ADC on.<br/>
Those damned ships simply do not sink when they should do so.<br/>

Mike Wood will take care of this, pm him and/or check this link.

Perhaps the bug won't be fixed for UV, but it will be erased for CF

Cost of factory repair

Sorry, for sure this has been asked several times before, but...

What is the cost of factory repair? IIRC, it is agreed that it's just 1000 supplies to repair one point.
But I'm under the impression that this also costst HI-Points. Does soeone know for sure?
