Still charging $60.00 for a game with zero support and doesn't work. Great job Matrix!

RE: Battle of the Bulge Historic Losses

<t> I hear you. Been playing SL and ASL since release as well. My point is the "fun" factor. No game is realistic but they can still give you thousands of hours of fun. I had a setup in the garage where I used 32 boards for battles involving thousands of pieces. They were not "real" battles but for ...

RE: Battle of the Bulge Historic Losses

<t> I came to the same conclusion as JeffK regarding the battles being discussed and game scale. I can't agree however that this is a failing point of WiTW. <br/>

RE: Battle of the Bulge Historic Losses

I served with the 1/110. We kicked Nazi ass at the Bulge for the first 3 days, significantly screwing the Gurman timetable. May I add I wasn't with the unit until the 90's lol.

RE: Paratroopers BGI

Seems easy to forget the little things in a game that covers so much. I forgot to click the airdrop button on the interface for half a day. Then I had to smack myself upside the head after I figured it out.

RE: Routing issues

It seems the surrender/destroy of units during my games is limited to around 50% with the +/- going heavy to the route instead of destruction/surrender. This happens in completely land locked locations while enemy units are completely surrounded. I thought this was the designer intent, no?

RE: Air directive query

As per Joel above, that's what I've been doing. At least until I get the air war rules nailed down.

Not sure. I thought I had read somewhere that there are some physical stand alone copies for sale. Best ask one of the moderators.

Took me about a month per each volume of Lee's, except the last one. Same with Shelby Foote's Narrative. Millions of words without shoes.

RE: War in The West: The most Beautiful

<t> There is a link in the top portion of the WiTW forums. Scroll up and you'll see it. The vids and player's guide was enough to get me started. I'll be learning this game for some time to come. I'm a little bit older and a little bit slower [8D] I found the series you mentioned. Found the set in a ...
