RE: Any improvements or additions to MT - please make suggestions

<t> Sorry just saw this thread...transplanting my suggestions/impressions from my other thread:<br/>
----------------------------------<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
1) The vehicle pathing AI is in dire need of adjustment. Vehicles become stuck doing the "Close Combat Shuffle" way, way too often. IMHO, it is ...

Impressions and Suggestions of an old Grog

<t> Howdy All,<br/>
<br/>
I picked up CC:MT last week on a whim and I am (for the most part) glad I did.<br/>
<br/>
The CC series has always been a series of games where I could sit down, and with less than 5 min of scenario prep/set become emerssed in a (realitively) accurate tactical wargame ...

RE: Maps with VLs unhidden

<t> I think the USMC were right...'if' the scenario designer has a decent write up that explains your mission objectives for the game.&nbsp; Unfortunately in real life with games like this that is rarely (i.e. NEVER!) the case.&nbsp; Need to have them displayed IMHO.<br/>

RE: No movement animations?

Ditto for myself as well. Had not noticed it did 'not' occur on fast until now however (I rarely do fast). Thanks!

Looking forward to the updates/mods.

<r> Files have been sent.<br/>

Also, note the "vanishing supply unit bug" seems to happen in Eastern Poland, Greece as well as Yug and as it occurs only during the construction phase there really is not before or after file for me to send... But the other files I sent should work fine as it ...

A pair of v1.2 bugs

<t> Howdy All,<br/>
<br/>
I have been playing WaW for about two weeks now and using the 1.2 patch exclusively. I think I have found a pair of bugs.<br/>
<br/>
I am playing the long campaign as Germans and I have seen these bugs in both of the two games I have played.<br/>
<br/>
The first is ...

Manual v1.20 pdf

Howdy,

I was wondering if the v1.2 of the manual (in pdf of course) can be had somewhere without doing a full install, then applying the patch.

I am at work and would like to skim the begger before firing up the game again tonight.

Thanks,
GG

Yep, I know... I am one of the Beta testers. But seeing as it is the 30th, I would not count on them making that date. :-)

However, I am still looking for another, more generic, more versitile game.

<t> Well, I have tried the demo for SA and while I thought I would like it while reading the previews, I don't.<br/>

See above for reasons (posted by Hexed Gamer) why I still play CC2/CC3 once in a while yet I have no plans on purchasing SA. That and the continous time with pause feature in ...

Sounds like what you are hunting for is essentially a war RPG game.<br/>
<br/>
Or something that is RPGish where you are really just controlling your "party" ie 3-4-5 or 6 personalities. And controlling them in a RPGish style environment ...

<r> I have seen in at Lunga as well. And I have seen it in several games with surface and air TFs. I just figured they were trying to disrupt my shipping. But, hell, the surface TFs should at least shell my grunts while they are there, right? And why risk carriers in a night run like that? Beats me ...

<t> I don't care what label you slap on it but the player gives actions/controls each man/veh. individually.<br/>

Turn based like JA2 would be just great or the ability to pause and issue orders is required at the minimum. Or it could be continuous turnbased like Combat Mission. Either ...
