I am periodically wiping the drool from my mouth. Whatever the price, I'll pay. Please don't take advantage of those who lack the willpower.

Two questions

Anyone can answer these:

1. How much easier would it be to take Port Moresby in January or February of 1942, versus May or later?
2. Could the Japanese gain anything strategically vital by occupying Ceylon, or would it just be a case of overextension?

New player looking for a player/coach

<r>My apologies for the ambiguous subject line. What I mean is, I've never played an email game yet, and I might need some help starting off. I don't need coaching for the game, and once we get the first couple turns going, I'm fine. <br/>

AI Difficulty level

Does the difficulty setting, ie historical, hard, etc merely make AI units easier or tougher to kill, or does the computer actually do a better job strategizing?

The militarists made a mistake in attacking Pearl, but you're doing your best to cope. Thing both long-term and short-term.

On a side note, I'm enjoying your AAR a lot. Are you playing one day turns, and just posting the highlights?

Mogami, whatever you're running for, you've got my vote. The US is lucky they didn't have to face you on the Japanese side back in 42.

Von Rom, or Admiral, if you prefer-
I look forward to your AAR. Be dilligent. Take PM and you can then focus the vast majority of your resources on the Eastern front. Good luck.

DC area

Hello
I'm going to be at Fort Belvoir, VA (near Alexandria) for the next nine months. I'd like to know if there's a wargaming community in the area. If anyone can tell me anything, I'd be much obliged.

Cheers.

<r>Good to go. Like I said, I don't know how to set up a PBEM game. My email is <EMAIL email="SemperFiOmega@yahoo.com"><s></s>SemperFiOmega@yahoo.com<e></e></EMAIL>. Or we can converse on the forum. Whatever is easiest. I'd prefer to play as the Allies. I don't have too much ...

Looking for a patient, semi-amatuer

<t>I've had the game since May, but very little opportunity to play it. Now I play it constantly. I'd like to play an email game very much, but I have no idea how to go about it. If someone is willing to take a couple message and let me know how to do it, I'd be glad to play you. Preferrably one of ...
