RE: Surface Combat Sux

<t> Those two ships probably acted as screen ships absorbing the fire from your TF. If you only have an average commander, but the AI is clued up a little more they will employ this tactic more effectively to avoid the loss of many ships.<br/>
As you admit the battle was completely one sided, the ...

Russian Scenario - ships.

<t> I don't know if anyone else has reported this, or found this... But playing the Russian only scenario I found that at the end of the first turn the russians recieved about 10 or so ships, mostly MSW's. However I found that the appeared at the Russian base located in the top centre of the map (a ...

I have used the PBY's on Naval attack as well, by switching to Night Flights, then selecting Naval attack. However, as with most flights, to do this it is vastly preferable to have a high exp + morale. I have used them with great affect against transports ina "hot seat" game.

<t>I've had a P38 pilot who had ended up with 14 kills. He had I think 2 or 3 when he was flying P39's out of PM.<br/>
<br/>
Whilst flying the P39's he gained a lot of EXP, and therefore when his squadron was updated to P38's.. he became a bit of a mennace, and chewed through Zeros...<br/>

<r>I use the P-39's on low level shipping raids. They make a huge mess of barges and ap/ak's. They also keep a high morale, and take few losses. I use the best Kittyhawks, and the P-400's on CAP, about 40% at 8000 for the kittyhawks, and 7000 for the p-400's.<br/>

<t>I have to say that I am not too concerned as to how accurate, or true to real life, the weather is. I would just like to know a weather prediction or forecast.<br/>
<br/>
For example; you may have the predicted weather for the next turn in UV, and on that you can decide whether you want to fly or ...
